Oatey All-Purpose Cement - 16 oz, Red

All Purpose Pipe Cement 16 oz. is a medium-bodied milky-clear cement that meets ASTM D-2564, NSF Standard 61 for PW, DWV and Sewer Waste, IAPMO Listed standards. This product is suitable for use on all schedules and classes of ABS, PVC, and CPVC pipe and fittings up to 6 inch diameter with interference fit. It is also recommended for potable water, pressure pipe, conduit, and DWV applications. The temperature rating ranges from 40 to 110 Deg F, with a shelf life of 2 years.

The application time varies based on temperature, ranging from 5 to 6 min at 30 to 50 Deg F, 3 to 4 min at 50 to 70 Deg F, and 1 to 2 min at 70 to 90 Deg F. The full cure time is 2 hours.

It meets California South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) 1168/316A or BAAQMD Method 40 and various environmental requirements. Additionally, it meets the performance requirements of ASTM D-2564, D-2235, and F-493. The recommended application temperature is 40°F to 110°F / 4°C to 43°C.
