The Oatey Sure-Vent 160 DFU Capacity Air Admittance Valve is specially designed with a one-way valve to allow air into the plumbing drainage system during negative pressures in the piping system. The main purpose of this valve is to allow air to enter the plumbing system without the need for a vent extending to the open air, while simultaneously preventing sewer gases from escaping into the building. It functions as a one-way valve that opens to allow air entry during negative pressures and closes by gravity to seal the vent terminal at zero differential pressure or under positive internal pressures.

The 2-Inch Sure Vent Air Admittance Valve 39220 is compliant with ASSE Standard 1050 and 1051, making it suitable for use as a secondary vent. This valve is approved for handling up to a 4" vent pipe and operates by opening and closing as needed by the building's plumbing system. Featuring Sweet Spot technology, it opens at -0.01 psi and seals at 0 psi and above.

Constructed with PVC material, this air admittance valve is also compliant with ASSE standards and approved for use as a secondary vent, specifically for up to a 4" vent pipe. It operates by opening and closing according to the needs of the building's plumbing system.
